I am very excited to present my Graduate school composition degree recital. My thesis string quartet and some other works will be performed. I'm also very excited to have the Polymnia String Quartet onboard to perform it. The event is FREE.
The people have spoken and demanded I come back and play on my old New Orleans porch for the Endymion parade. So why not!

UPDATE: 11/25/17. I've decided to postpone this till January so that it would be extra awesome.
I've been learning the viola on the side for the past year or so. I am no where near proficient enough to play with the LPO! This is an event wehre the community gets to play with the Orchestra. I participated last year and it was so much fun I'm flying back for it this year. If you like to participate click HERE.
Tim passed away on Saturday night after a long battle with ALS. Tim was a frequent bass player in the NYC edition of my various bands. I'm happy to be included as some of his many musician friends play a tribute to him.

World renown composer Yotam Haber (and my Univ of New Orleans Composition Teacher!) has written an interesting piece that will be performed on Lake Pontratrain called New Water Music. I'll be playing my viola with the LPO! Here is the official write up:
New Water Music will be a free, public performance on Lake Ponchartrain debuting composer Yotam Haber's New Water Music. It will be performed from the water by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and community musicians in a spectacular choreographed visual presentation, conceived and executed by New Orleans Airlift.
New Water Music takes inspiration from Handel's Water Music, famously performed on the River Thames for the King of England in 1717, but also for the wider city who watched from shore and from boats. New Water Music pays homage by connecting exceptional music to diverse public audiences, but also uses this performance to illuminate Louisiana's coastal crisis of receding wetlands and changing lifestyles for fisherman and coastal residents, with repercussions for New Orleans residents and beyond.
